In your lifetime, be it 10 years, 20 even 80 years, have you ever stumbled? I’m guessing everyone has stumbled more than once in their lifetime with decisions, with the aftermath of poor decisions or even physically stumbled or fallen. Have you actually fallen and felt like you couldn’t get up? Have you had a newborn and experienced exhaustion to the point of thinking you could not get up? Perhaps you were the quarterback for your football team and ended up at the bottom of a pile up from getting sacked. Did you feel like you could not get up? Did addiction take you to your lowest level of being? Did you think you were alone in this dilemma? Jesus cried out asking why He had been forsaken, perhaps feeling like carrying our sins to the cross was almost unbearable.

How incredibly blessed are we that we are loved so unconditionally that falling isn’t permanent! As we stumble through life, He’s willing to be our guide. At your deepest, darkest time of despair, He’s there!

Life Alert and products like that are wonderful and connect the “fallen” with immediate help. Know that if you fall with your thinking; if you fall with your decisions; if your illness is pushing you down farther; God is your lifeline. God never leaves you or forsakes you.

Be alert to His presence and know if you stumble or fall, He will help you rise!
