I have written about the view from my windows. My windows in Vermont provide me with endless opportunities to observe weather activities and wildlife events. Here in Florida, I am treated to a different view, but one no less beautiful and engaging.
The view from my back window reveals plenty of critter action and plant growth. Gazing out this window always brings me to a state of peace, tranquility and wonder. The wonder comes from observing the growth of the shrubs, the beauty of the hibiscus blooms, the incredible actions of the birds as they preen and clean themselves in the little bird bath plus the additional bonus of phenomenal sunsets almost every day!
Each of these are miracles. There is no doubt in my mind. The perfect chemical reaction in shrubs and trees which keeps them green and provides us with oxygen leaves me in awe. The colors of the flowers are beyond description. Birds flying! Vivid indescribable sunsets! Wondrous!
There is so much to marvel about in our world. So much proof of a loving God who has provided for us in ways too numerous to count. When the day gets too hectic and stressful, stop and stare out your window-wherever you are (unless you are driving). Say a prayer of thanksgiving for all the blessings in your life. You will find the glory of God displayed for you. Embrace it! Keep it close to your heart. He loves you unconditionally.
