Recently I have read lots of articles regarding angels and whether they exist or not.  If they do exist, what is their role and how does that affect us?

I know of people, my mother being one of them, who believed strongly in angels and mom even collected angel figurines.  She knew they were around her, sent by God and a source of comfort for her.

Have I ever seen one? No.  Have I ever felt their presence? No; however, I have read and heard of others who can vividly describe their visit and appearance. Here’s the best part, I don’t have to see an angel or read multiple accounts of their presence or propose to know they exist, the Bible tells me so.

The children’s song, Jesus Loves Me, melodically assures me of His love because the Bible tells us so. The Bible mentions, describes, depicts angels over 200 times.  That’s enough for me to know they are part of God’s creation.  They have been created for a reason and are spiritually significant.  Like a fantastic job opportunity that comes with incredible benefits, believing in the one True God, a Being above all others, an omnipotent Ruler, who sent His Son to die for us, has its benefits. Unconditional love and Angels and the benefits package includes even more, your promise of eternal life.  What an amazing Heavenly Father we have! Keep it simple, with childlike faith, know that the Bible tells us so and praise Him with thanksgiving, your benefits’ package is the BEST.
