It seems that every time I think about faith and my commitment to God, a song pops into my head. From “Jesus Loves Me” to “I Know Whom I Have Believed,” the songs always have a calming effect on my soul.  I have always loved music and I am glad that our church services immerse us in music.  

I recently attended a memorial service that had no music in it, and it did not seem like much of a celebration of life. Music helps to infuse the joy that Christ desires us to feel, and to feel hope and not despair.  Let us all remember to keep a song in our hearts as we walk with Christ. Read Colossians 3:1 – 17.

Go forward with a song in your heart, and remember: God loves YOU unconditionally!
