Social Media has a variety of sources you can choose to participate in and enjoy the ability to connect.  Current times find more folks using ZOOM or Facebook to hold business meetings, or family reunions, or classroom lessons and even church services.

I am blessed to have several dear friends (over 40+ years) that have been through “life” with me.  Though distance separates us, visits find us easily “picking up” where we left off.  The bond of friendship reconnects and the energy of love resumes a natural flow. We can be apart months or even years and at first glance, the spark of kindling ignites into that unique flame that drew us together all those many years before. Friends are a gift I truly treasure. They know who they are and they are loved.

Don’t you suppose that God feels the same way and even more intensely? He treasures us as we are His children. His end of the connection is never too busy, or too far away, or off-line.  Miles don’t separate us; we make the choice to be too busy for Him.

Most of us honestly appreciate and may, at times, take for granted the availability of connecting via smartphone Facetime, or ZOOM, or private messenger of Facebook and instantly seeing our grandchildren or the boss, or a video conference or visiting with our best friend on-line.  God is even more available and even closer, do you take the time to ZOOM into His Word (yes, there is an app for that on your smartphone)? Don’t allow yourself to get so busy, so involved on the golf course, or so chatty with your card club, or over-scheduled with business meetings, or so distracted carting your kids to their activities that the REAL connection is lost.

Reconnect to God.  Keep yourself on-line and in-line with Him.  Hold Him close.  Be aware and nurture the availability of the TRUE connection and the gift of everlasting life through Christ, He loves us unconditionally.
