For better or for worse, the year 2021 is coming to a close.  At midnight we will begin anew, a fresh new year.  We have no idea what it will bring for us individually or for our world.   But we walk ahead with the assurance that our loving God walks with us.

I’d like to share with you this traditional Gaelic blessing, asking for deep peace to accompany you each step of the way in 2022, the deep peace of from the Almighty God who has loved you unconditionally in days past and will love you unconditionally through each day to come.

“Deep peace of a running wave to you
Deep peace of the flowing air to you
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you
Deep peace of the shining stars to you
Deep peace of the gentle night to you
Moon and stars pour their healing light on you
