All for the Glory of God

Recently, we took some time by the ocean. What majesty!  What an impressive sight, watching the surf rolling into the shore. The vastness! The endless movement of the water! The wind churning the surf! The full moon over the water! All demonstrate the awesome power of God.  It was too cold to sit on the beach, however the view from our rooms was gift enough. Spending time in this type of contemplation keeps my “fear” of the Lord secure. Fear, not from the scared place, fear as respect for the incredible power of God. The incredible glory of God.

I am at a loss for words except to note that here is another proof of the unconditional love of God for His people. To be given these wondrous gifts for our pleasure and use puts me in mind of how I often demonstrate my love for my family and friends with unrequested gifts. Granted on a much smaller scale but certainly with the idea of unconditional acceptance-no matter whatsoever has happened in the past or will happen in the future.

God’s love provides me with inspiration. I am also reminded that I live and breathe, cook and write blogs all for the glory of God.  With that thought in mind, the tasks are worthwhile!

Always remember that God loves you unconditionally.
