Have you ever woken up with a song in your head?  Today I have the song “I’d Rather Have Jesus” in my head.  The words are:

“I’d rather have Jesus than Silver or Gold, I’d rather have Jesus than riches untold.

I’d rather have Jesus than houses or lands, I’d rather be led by his nail pierced hand,

Than to be the king of a vast domain or be held in sin’s dread sway.

I’d rather have Jesus than anything this world affords today.”*

Waking up each day proclaiming that we would rather have Jesus over everything that may come our way, will help us to live a happy and joy-filled life.  Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.   May Jesus be your answer and “I’d Rather have Jesus” be your battle cry!  Read John chapter 3, and remember: God loves YOU unconditionally!
