Alleluia Again!

In many traditional Christian churches, Lent is observed for 40 days.  A period of time where focus can be to reflect and repent. Those forty days lead us up to Holy Week, where we recount Jesus’ betrayal, trial, suffering and death. The culmination is Easter and the “Alleluia-He–lives–again-resurrection.” The tomb is empty. He is risen.

During our observation of Lent, ALLELUIA is not sung, nor said, but the joys of ALLELUIA rise up in our shouts and singing on Easter morning.  The blessed peace that comes to us from knowing HE IS RISEN, HE IS RISEN INDEED, is a gift from our Heavenly Father. By Christ’s stripes, pain and suffering, WE ARE HEALED, ALLELUIA. We have salvation, healing, forgiveness, redemption and unconditional love, that should make us all shout ALLELUIA.

Happy Easter!  The Lord is risen, He is risen indeed!  Celebrate your risen Savior. Alleluia Alleluia
