One of my favorite Easter songs is “Because He Lives” by Bill Gaither.

“God sent His son, they called Him, Jesus;
He came to love, heal and forgive;
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives!”

“Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives, all fear is gone,
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living,
Just because He lives!”

What a beautiful rendition of the gospel message.   Because He lives, our fear is gone!  We know He holds the future!  It brings a lump to my throat and a tear to my eye, as I sing these awesome lyrics.   Yesterday we shared the message in word and song – He is risen, He is risen indeed!   He lives!   Alleluia!  Easter is pure joy; the Lord is risen!   And, because He lives, we can face tomorrow!

Remember the unconditional love of this Jesus who LIVES!
