My Inheritance

Jewels, artwork, priceless treasures, money, real estate…. hmm, I was not the inheritor of any of these “things.”  My mother collected angels and I have some beautiful pieces from her collection.  I have my father’s watch and a ring that I hold close.  The largest inheritance I received was their love.  What a gift!  I am blessed!

The wonderful news is, as believing Christians, we have won the lottery of inheritance.  We are children of the Most High God.  We have His favor and unconditional love.  As His children we are inheritors of eternal life.  Believing that Jesus was crucified and died for ALL of our sins, we have the promise of eternity.

“And while being reviled, He did not revile in return, while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously, and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds, you were healed. “I Peter 2: 23-24

When you know Jesus, in your heart, body, and soul, you have life eternal with our heavenly Father.  What an inheritance! Share the Good News.  The trials and rocky paths and mega bumps in this life are not forever, but life in eternity with God is a treasured gift from His Son.  Know Him! Your inheritance will be riches beyond your imagination!
