It is certainly not precise, but Christianity is in another new season. It has been five hundred five years since the Protestant Reformation. Monumental change in all areas of life ensued as human history entered modernity. Many believe we are now in the post-modern era. A spiritual awakening is beginning to ferment. Souls are stirred, longing for the living God. How will the church respond? We are in a Great Awakening, a refounding of who we are as people of faith.

We CAN be certain that the Holy Spirit is up to something. Always changing us. Leading us to new ways of evangelism and discipleship. Old strategies won’t work if we want to tap into the spiritual stirrings that will lead seekers away from evil, distrust, and hate.

We CAN be certain that we will be guided on the Truth, the only one that means anything.
Unconditional love that will affirm us as we are engaged in the peaceful resistance to the ways of the world. We should not seek escape, but wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
