Are you facing a personal challenge today?   Is it overwhelming?  Perhaps it’s a health challenge, or a relationship challenge, a financial challenge, an emotional challenge.

I could tell you that the Lord is with you.  True, of course.  But maybe that doesn’t seem to be helping. 

The Lord is holding your hand and walking your journey with you.  But, he’s asking you to lift up your eyes and take a good look around you.  Although I will not discount miracles, usually the Lord does not come in the form of a magic wand or a genie in the bottle.  Most often he places help around us.  Is he leading you to a counselor, a self-help group, a medical specialist, an understanding friend, an organization designed to address your particular issue, a Stephen Minister?

Ask for help.    Ask your Lord in Prayer.  But then ask those he has provided for you.  You don’t have to go it alone.  Ask, seek, knock!   Your answer probably won’t come instantly like a bolt of lightening, but God in his unconditional love will lead you to what is best for you.
