Only Human

The expression, “Well, I am only human,” is certainly inaccurate. We are not just bodies, but a human who is also a spiritual being.  That is not two separate things, but rather a uniquely tied together entity. The Holy Spirit dwells within us believers.  “So, if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new.” 2 Corinthians 5: 17

Thinking of ourselves as “only human” limits are abilities and thoughts.  We are truly loved by our Heavenly Father and as baptized Christians, the Holy Spirit inhabits our very being, we are entwined, as one. Don’t allow “human-only” thinking to weigh you down.  You have unlimited, unconditional love flowing through you.  You are an inheritor of the kingdom of God.

My computer sometimes needs to be rebooted, like an on/off switch.  If you find yourself thinking lack and fear and aloneness. Reboot your thoughts.  Pray that the Holy Spirit will enlighten your thinking and recharge any limits you are clinging to in life.  You are a new creation, in Christ.

John 10:10 “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” If your human-only self-talk is saying an abundant life is not feasible, allow your powerful, faith-filled, spiritual being-self to know your life in Christ can be AWE-SOME!
