I came across this song a couple weeks ago when searching for something else.  This version of the song is sung by Elvis Presley. Others have sung it as well and it has a wonderful message.

The words are simple and easy to understand.  The first verse in the Bible, Genesis, 1:1 tell us “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”.  

The song further emphasizes God created the entirety of the world with His own hands out of His unconditional love for mankind. We should all be grateful and thank Him daily for this wonderful world in which we are privileged to live. Thanks be to God.
