Humility in Community

I enjoy watching a few of the NCAA basketball tournament games. I was impressed by the players’ humility and willingness to share the glory with coaches and team mates.

This is what Paul exhorts us to be in our daily lives with Christ. Philippians 2:3 and 4: “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.”

In our church’s community and local community, we have many people who are willing to help others without reward, other than the feeling that they are helping others. It is in doing these things that we strengthen our lives as Christians. Let’s see whose life we can enrichen this week.

Remember: God loves you unconditionally!
