For those of you who opened this today hoping to hear from your friend Terri, I’m sorry to disappoint you but Terri is “on the road” headed to her summer haven in Vermont. Be safe Terri and enjoy a beautiful New England summer.
But for today, I’ll share a word or two with you. As we wish blessings on her travel and on yours, wherever you may be headed, let’s look at a verse in in Matthew. The Lord has assured us he will be with us always, everywhere, even to the end of the age. Whether on the road, facing traffic, or weary from our travels, he has promised “I will be with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20
ALWAYS That’s a big word. It means in all places, at all times, in all circumstances. It’s a promise that we personally cannot make. No matter our love and devotion, we will not always be with our loved one. The responsibilities and circumstances of daily life will take us away, however briefly. We will sleep, we will run an errand, we will keep a medical appointment. But Jesus will ALWAYS be with us, he never blinks from our presence.
Praise to be God for his unconditional and omnipresent love.
Judy
