Have you ever had one of those days where nothing seems to go right or all the news you get is bad?  I had one of those day the other day.  It got so when the phone rang, my first thought was, now what?!  I started to get edgy and in panic mode.  

When that happens, it is hard to hear the still small voice of Jesus.  I was reminded that the name of Jesus is powerful.  All I needed was to step back and remember that I am not the one in control.  The song says it best, “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, there is something about that name.  Kings and kingdoms will all pass away. But there is something about that name.”

The next time you have a “bad” day, remember to call on our Savior’s strength.  Read Philippians 4:10 – 20, and call on Jesus for your strength.   Also,  remember: God loves you unconditionally!
