Are You Renewable?

Your insurance gets renewed.  Possibly your prescriptions are renewable. Do you subscribe to streaming channels that renew? Nature renews with each cycle of growth…but, are you renewable?  The answer is YES!

Every time we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord on Easter, through worship, through communion, through prayer, we are renewed.

Psalm 51:10 states, “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”

I’m certain as you move through your daily life, you let go of things that get in your way.  Perhaps you let go of a bad habit and renew your efforts for not smoking, or eating healthier foods, or being more “in the moment.”  We all stumble and fall and are not always sauntering effortlessly through our day, so each time we dust ourselves off and let go, we are RENEWING. We renew our efforts again, starting over, taking another chance, rising from the ashes, brushing ourselves off and welcoming new thoughts and actions.

If we place limits on ourselves and our thinking, we may miss how our Lord loves us so unconditionally, that He renews us and awakens His Spirit within us.  Let go of the limits you place on yourself. Open your mind to renewal.  Begin each day with knowing the sun has risen and God is on His throne.  Be renewed. Lay down your burdens. Psalm 55:22 “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you.” The possibilities for renewal are limitless! Thanks be to God.
