My walking shoes on, water bottle with me, and off I go.  I discovered if I am constantly looking down, I notice each bit of gravel, pine cone, sticks and seem to slow down.  If, however, I look ahead my pace picks up and though I notice the small obstacles ahead, my steps are sure and lively.  Hm????

        If we have hope in our Father and our eternal rest in His kingdom, we should walk with our heads held high and look ahead.  Most definitely the pathway to heaven is laden with gravel and perhaps even a gravel pit for some of us. The road may even have potholes and curves. Trusting in His Holy Word, we know with confidence John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will have everlasting life.” Look up! Feel God’s unconditional love for you. Keep walking forward! Be blessed on your journey. Have hope in your future dwelling place.
