Neutral

Where I grew up in Ohio, we lived very close to the county fairgrounds.  August was the month when two weeks at the fair brought the area so much activity.  When the fair emptied out, there was a stadium, empty barns, paved midways and a longing for the next year to come soon. In the emptiness of the fair midways, my boyfriend at the time, taught me to drive.  The midways were wide and I was able to drive with no traffic. Around and around the empty turns, I drove. I was doing GREAT, then he guided me to the real road.  His directive was to be a defensive driver and drive as if every other driver was crazy and any thing could happen.  Stay aware.

STAY AWARE applies to our life with Jesus.  Don’t idle in neutral.  Complacency is not going to enrich your life as His child. The more you grow in your faith, the stronger you build your relationship with our Lord, the more confident you will become about your choices.  Being a child of our Most High God is a privilege offered to EVERYONE!  We are His.  We are loved unconditionally. Share the Good News of His love. Help those whose life may be stalled or idled. Encourage those who may be fluctuating between steering their own course or allowing their journey to be God-led. Neutral is not a place to stay. Shift gears.  Trust the Lord to help you keep your eyes on the prize. Put yourself wholly and completely behind the wheel of His power.  Stay aware!
