Native American Blessing

While cleaning up a messy table in a corner of the living room I found a card with these words printed on it.

Native American Blessing

May the sun bring you
new energy by day.
May the moon softly
restore you by night.
May the rain wash away
your worries.
May the breeze blow new
 strength into your being.
May you walk gently
through the world
and know its beauty
all the days of your life.
Apache Prayer

I had just read Psalm 19 that morning and I felt a connection to verses 1-6, but I didn’t quite know how to express it.  That evening, I was sitting in the darkened family room, and I started writing on my grocery list pad.  “I am just a simple person who marvels at God’s creation every day.  From the rising sun to the setting moon to the beauty all around us. God is with us every moment.  Let his love and beauty envelop you and surround every day.”  Nothing profound but so very true.  Read Psalm 19:1-6 and see what connection you can make, and remember that God loves you unconditionally.
