There are folks who seem to be born with planners in their hands, so organized and “on top” of things. I am organized, but not obsessively to the point of perfection. Several friends of mine are not organized at all and seem to flit about with no issues. Having to reschedule a missed appointment, or apologize for forgetting a meeting, is just not a “big deal” to them.
Does the well-planned, organized person believe that their life will be “bump-free?” Does the care-free, not-fitting-into-a-schedule-person skate over the bumps? It is an illusion if you think life in this world is problem-free. Trusting in our Heavenly Father, believing in His omnipotence does not give us the “get-out-of-jail FREE” card.
Believing, trusting and hoping our organized, scheduled life will be a gilded life of ease is simply wrong. We are HUMANS with free will. If we know Jesus as our Savior, and trust His Holy Word, we will never be separated from His unconditional love for us. He will not leave us or forsake us. He did not promise us a “rose garden” of simple joy for our earthly lives. The promise of heaven and eternity with God should be on your planner. Whether a free-spirited non-planner or an ultra-organizer, seek God’s promises and believe in His Truths so Heaven will be your resting place. The bumps, the twists, pain, and turmoil, will be part of your human journey on earth, whether you plan or not, but you can rest in our Father’s arms knowing He is always with you.
