A Sign

My nerves were on edge as I tried to rush down busy State Road 200. The heavy traffic was clogged and crawling way below the posted speed limit. I was finally able to pass a few cars and get into a lane that was moving and then . . .

A red light! Why now?

I gritted my teeth and took a deep breath. It was then that I noticed the license tag on the sleek, shiny black convertible stopped just in front of me. The tag said,

“PRAY 1”

Another deep breath. . .   Just like that, in the middle of an ordinary day, God’s Holy Spirit tapped me on the shoulder and adjusted my attitude. . .

I prayed.

I prayed on busy State Road 200. I felt a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes as I realized that my Heavenly Father knew exactly where I was. He wanted to talk with me. He wanted to remind me of his promises.

Maybe you’ll see this shiny black convertible around town. Maybe you’ll be awakened by a sign that God is alive in Ocala and he wants to be a part of your life.  Remember, God loves you unconditionally.
