A constant chore can be time consuming and annoying. Laundry to me is a pain in the neck. Stains pretreated sometimes don’t come out. Well, it has to be done or we would walk around with dirty clothes with visible stains and the stench of uncleanliness.

As a believer in Christ, this brings to my mind the fact that we are all stained by our sin. We must continually confess to God that we need His forgiveness. We need to be made clean again and again. And, we trust in His Son Jesus who paid the price to make us clean. His sacrifice on the cross was made willingly to conquer sin and death.

Although we are saved by His Grace, we still need to pray for guidance from His Holy Spirit to keep us on the right path! When we commit our lives to the Lord, the Spirit dwells in us and guides our steps.
