Oldies but Goodies

If you’re a Baby Boomer, chances are that when you read the words of this song, the melody will sing in your head and your body may start grooving . . .

“I can’t get no-o satisfaction . . .”

Can’t you just hear Keith Richards and Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones?
Rock on!

“And I tried, and I tried, and I tried, and I tried . . .”

Sometimes I’m just stuck in the seventies. . .
Stuck in the old habits . . .
Same old song . . .
No satisfaction . . .

I tried
I tried
I tried
And I tried.

“For HE satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.” Psalm 107:9

HIS is the song and the melody and the rhythm and the beat
that will give me satisfaction.
I can’t do it solo.

Thank you, Lord Jesus.
YOU love me unconditionally.  YOU love us all unconditionally.
