Do you have children?  For this message, it does not matter if you have children.  If you are reading it, you yourself were at one time a kid, child, youngin’ of someone. Circumstances differ for many of us.  Perhaps you are estranged from a parent, they are deceased, you were adopted, perhaps raised by foster parents. Here is the GOOD NEWS:

What holds the POWER is the knowledge, WE ARE GOD’S CHILDREN! That is a bold, strong Biblical truth. I John 3:1-3 reminds us, God allows us to be called His Children.  Oh, my goodness, such overwhelming love is encapsulated in that statement.  You are a child of the Most High God.  He loves you unconditionally.  You may cling to Him.  You may run to Him with your arms and heart wide open, awaiting the embrace of His Holy Word and Promises. He promised you will be like Him, pure and holy upon your arrival in heaven. WOW!

Just uttering the words, WE ARE CHILDREN OF GOD, makes me smile.  There is comfort knowing almighty, all-powerful God calls me His child. You are not alone. Your childhood situation on this earth is not paramount. Trust in God’s mercy and grace, through Jesus, our Savior and Lord, we are God’s children with all the benefits He will pour out on us for eternity. You are blessed!
