I have heard many people say, “When a baby is born, you know there is a God! Such a miracle!” Of course, there are those who don’t believe God is the Creator. At this writing, the Artemis astronauts have already been to the other side of the moon. The farthest a human has been. The photos they took of the Earth were breathtaking. God’s creation even more visible to us. Growing up in the Midwest, I loved Spring, because I always looked for the crocus to push up their new spring growth through the snow. To me, that was God bringing another season into my life. Easter has just passed but yet again, the tops of the Florida pine trees had tiny crosses popping right out, exactly at Easter. Other trees were looking so very dead and dormant with no color, no leaves, what seemed like no life left in them, are perking up with new leaves, renewed life, as they experience another spring of growth.
Seriously, how can folks not believe? Creation. Renewal. Rebirth. The chance to see more of God’s creation through space and technology. There were disbelievers at our Lord’s resurrection too. Jesus had even told His disciples about His need to leave them through His crucifixion, but that He would return. They were still in disbelief but coupled with awe.
Spring shows us constant reminders of renewal and rebirth and new sights. II Corinthians 5: 17-18 ”Because of this decision we don’t evaluate people by what they have or how they look. We looked at the Messiah that way once and got it all wrong, as you know. We certainly don’t look at him that way anymore. Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life emerges! “
Be renewed, you are loved unconditionally!
