I wonder at the birth of Jesus. The story never gets old. I wonder at the awe of that manger just as much now as I did as a child. It is a wonder, a marvelous holy wonder. The Savior of the world, the King – lying on the straw. I cannot comprehend God’s plan, I can only ponder, I can only look back in wonder.
I wander into the new year. In a few short days the calendar will change. Around us nothing seems to change. There is still war and hatred, jealousy and pride. We are so far from being God’s children, united as one. Such deep longings and fears, so many questions, so many unknowns –as we wander on.
“I wonder as I wander, out under the sky,
how Jesus the Savior did come for to die
for poor ord’n’ry people like you and like I
I wonder as I wander, out under the sky.” *
I wonder and I wander, so alone. ‘Til Jesus our Savior comes to us, comes with an unconditional love that wraps us in his loving arms and gives us the strength to go on.
I hope you enjoy this rendition.

I loved your message, Judy and I loved the rendition of the song. Very simple and beautiful just like the sentiment.
