Imagine a wonderful future where people look beyond themselves and choose to treat others with love, kindness and compassion. Imagine a future where no one is forgotten, and those who have more, willingly share with those who have less.

Imagine a future where people recognize that every gift, talent, and ability is a blessing from God. Those who can, teach, use their knowledge to educate others. Those with healing gifts bring comfort to the sick. Those with resources provide food, shelter and opportunities for families in need. Artists, builders, leaders, caregivers and workers all use what they have been given to make life better for others.

Faith would not simply be something spoken about on special occasions: it would be lived every day through acts of kindness. Communities would gather to support the lonely, encourage the discouraged, protect the vulnerable and give hope to those facing difficult times.

In this future, people understand that blessings are not meant to be kept only for ourselves. They are opportunities to serve. As scripture teaches us in 1Peter 4:10, “God has given each of you a gift from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another”.

Imagine a world where compassion guides our choices, generosity replaces selfishness, and every person has the chance to flourish. What a beautiful reflection of God’s unconditional love that would be. Thanks be to God!
